For what purpose? Personally I dont like the flash of these two. Not having driven either one Id go with the MR simply because its a little more subdued. I think the STi edges it in performance though.

Both are terrific cars, regardless of its purpose. Plenty of boost, AWD, looks good to most, and are just plain sweet rides almost worth the 30 grand or whatever ridiculous price they are.

If it's for DD, then STi. I hear the Evo makes you miserable in rush hour (STi probably isn't much better) plus the STi has a more refined interior. For racing, then Evo as it seems to have more power potential than the STi, but both handle power increases well.

If i could vote(my computer wont let me) i personnally would pick the Sti because it has plenty of boost and AWD always looks good in my eyes.
Anyways, good luck picking the right car man.
