New Hemi V8?
They had a pretty cool commercial on that today lol. Anyone see the one where some old car pulls up (Camaro?) next to a brand new Dodge Ram. The Ram is towing around an old Charger and the guy asks if the car has a Hemi. He says yeah, they end up drag racing and the Ram beats the car. Then he says "Oh you meant the Charger, yeah that has a Hemi too" LoL.
345 hp not bad. Anyone have any information on this new Hemi I'm curious to what its all about?

Ya there is a pushrod hemiin the new truck..mostly for NASCRAP reasons and I herd that it might end up in the crosfire...
Anyway I really dont have to much info on the new motor..try going to dodges web page..there probly spouting off all kinds of BS about it.. now if they would only put that motor in a decent cheep RWD car..

yeah
A while back they did have a concept for a new Charger, looked pretty cool. Wish they would make something like that again, Dodge could use another car to compete with the Mustang GTs and Camaro Z28's. If you want something fast from Dodge you gotta cough up like $78,000.

wow that razor looks awesome
250hp RWD 2.4 4 cylinder $14,500 0-60 in less than 6 seconds...thats amazing for that price

And what does that have to do with tea in china?
I'm talking about this thing.   That car could of given the Z28's 350 a run for its money if it had that 345hp Hemi.

too bad that charger looks like an expensive mofo. what we need is more cars like the Razor, so the young crowd can actually have a chance to buy something quick and capable of being quicker.

I think I've found a replacement for the 318 in the Dart... very nice indeed.
The Razor is designed to be an entry level sports car, fetching miata money. The Solstice is supposed to be launched in the same market, low buck high power sports cars, with engines that just want to be revved

Would be nice if Dodge put it in something like that Charger concept. Dodge doesn't really have anything to compete with GM and Ford as far as affordable fast cars. All they have is the Viper which is too expensive. They have no "Mustang/Camaro class". And all Chrysler is into is little hot rod cars like the Prowler and PT Cruiser, which isn't a bad thing, but they aren't that fast either.

In the new Hot Rod there's an article about the new Hemi and it hints that the Intrepid may be changed to RWD and also that there's a Concept Chrysler 300 Hemi with RWD. They made it sound like D-C is coming out with a new RWD car with V8 power, but that it's still a couple years off.

I read that Chrysler will be making a number of RWD vehicles, to repent for their decades of womanly front wheel drive fullsizers (sorry polygon, had to say it).
I say bring it on, they haven't made a mans car since they stopped the turbo 2 program(well, there was the turbo 3, but those are very rare)...
