Another window/electrical problem

Just bought a 99 Grand Cherokee Limited. Only issue was that the Passenger window did not work.
I pulled the panel off to look for loose wiring and did not see any, so I figured it would be the regulator and put everything back together.
Here is where it gets "tricky", after putting the panel back on I went to put up the Driver's and rear windows. Now, the rear passenger Window doesn't work, the Passenger Mirror doesn't work and the Passenger Door "courtesy" light doesn't work.
Troubleshooting so far, pulled the rubber boots (between door and body) back on the passenger and driver's door. No broken wires and had continuity from Black wire to ground. I have power coming in on the TAN wire ( "guessing " that this is Main Power, any help on the MAIN POWER AND GROUNDS would be appreciated) up to the Passenger door switch.
After all this, I was able to "hotwire" the rear door regulator and get the window up. Tried the same thing on the Passenger window and no luck...
So I'm almost 99.9 % sure I need a Passenger Window Regulator, now the bigger question is the other Crazy issues. Passenger Mirror, Rear Left window doesn't work, Door "Courtesy " light doesn't work). Oh and 1 last thing, I disconnected the NEG off the Battery to maybe reset anything and Now the Key Fob operates all doors except the Drivers, I can Manually lock the Driver's door but it does not lock the others.
So I'm trying to figure out if I buy a Driver's or Passenger's Door switch? I'll Keep chasing wires and grounds but I can't find any good wiring diagrams that will help. Or pay the local guys $60-85 an hour to chase wires? Any help is appreciated...............................Kwit

Re: Another window/electrical problem

Well,
I got it figured out. When I pulled the panel again I found the Yellow/ Brown wire connector loose. I then pulled the regulator, took it apart and freed up the gears, everything works now with $0 dollars out of pocket.............Kwit

Good deal. By regulator, you are referring to power window assembly with the cable, not the motor/actuator right?

Re: Another window/electrical problem

I pulled the Entire assembly (Motor, cable, and Support that holds the Window). I then pulled the Housing off the back of the Motor itself, pulled out the piece with the magnet/ copper (can't think of the name) and checked the "brushes" and wires to the brushes, which were good. At that time I was able to turn the gears and free them up. Put everything back together , plugged it in and it worked. Hope this can help someone and keep them from paying the $400 the dealers want.....................................Kwit

I'm glad asked, that's the first time I've ever heard of anyone getting the actuator to work. It's considered non serviceable, ie., needs to be replaced when it goes bad.

I think you're referring to the Armature.
