Exclamation 2002 Dodge Problems

In my car when it shifts around the 20 mph range it jerks real bad like its not getting fuel and it only stops if i let go of the gas and I ease it over while it shifts. It also does it around the 40 mph shift range. Another problem I am having is it not starting. Usually when I'm around empty or I just filled up the car won't start unless I hold the key over for like 10 seconds. Do you think my transmission is starting to go bad.

Re: 2002 Dodge Problems

I had a hardshifting problem on my 97 3.3l. Afterreplacing the tranny fluid and filter, the problem went away. It may be a long shot.

Re: 2002 Dodge Problems

Is the service engine light on?The 1998 and up transmissions have problems with the speed sensors. They do not go out and most yards do not sell them, they sit on the shelf
