94 AC Hot Air
I have a 1994 Explorer, just put on new A/C compressor. Re-Charged and only blows semi-cool. Any suggestions on what to look at next.

Re: 94 AC Hot Air
If the old compressor was bad, chances are pretty good that there was debris travelling through the system. Did you also replace the orifice tube and/or receiver/dryer?
How do the pressures look on the high and low sides? -Rod |

Re: 94 AC Hot Air
Flushed out the system prior to charging. Pressure is good on the low side I have not checked on the High side.
I had to replace the low pressure sendor to get the dang thing running. |

Re: 94 AC Hot Air
Rod,
Thanks for the help, getting semi cool air at the momment. Is there any way to help the amount of air coming out? It seems the back seat gets nothing. Also there is an intermintent squel with the belt, time to replace? |

Re: 94 AC Hot Air
If the air flow is reduced, you may have an issue with the blend doors, etc. This could be a vacuum hose issue. Can you tell if the air that you do have is coming out the appropriate locations otherwise?
