mass air flow sensor

Can this be cleaned instead of buying a new one? These are kinda pricey.

Yes they can.I believe CRC has come out with a spray can version to clean mass air flow sensors.

Good info, CRC has a specific cleaner for the MAF.

Thanks guys. I went to O'reilly's today and picked up a can and cleaned it. It didn't look that dirty but they must be very sensitive. It seems to run ok now though.
