2005 Rav 4 Door Lock Programming
I have a 2005 Rav 4 that has never, to my knowledge, had a keyless entry with it. I purchased a remote on line and cannot get it to work. The car does have electric door locks. I have tried the insert key and close door method, and the insert key 7 times. I have changed the battery in the remote. I cannot get it to go into programming mode. Is there a switch in the cars electronics that has to be thrown? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
