i just got beat bya stinkin ford escort z3r or sumthin like that i have a 95 ga gt we both started at a rolling 35 and i was actually ahead when i stomped it but my car changed gears right away and he just blew my doors off i think my car really dogs when its shifts like that it sucks whats the prob.

This is a weak point for GA's. 35-40mph is a killer because you are either to fast to down shift , then when it does up shift you have the Low torq working against you.

Plus the escort was probly a 5 spd
Give us V6 guys a 5 spd then we'll see who beats who

I took a Hyundai last night... not like thats anywhere near an accomplishment. My car must have been itchin for it though, i barely hit the gas and the wheels were spinning and there was a cloud of smoke behind me and i was off. Oh well

haha started a descent conversation nice but i was talkin to one of my buddys and he knew the guy. he said that it had a five speed on it so im sure he just dropped it and stomped it. not fair to me in third or fourth already oh well tho. lookin to change that in the near future

I doin't realy race per say, but i have a well mantaned 97 with all of 130.xxx miles on it.
And when i get that "roadrage felling" i let them get out of the way.
