Question Horn/signal turn problem

For some odd reason everytime I put my right turn signal on I can hear a faint beep in my horn. Also when I push the horn the right turn blinker comes on for as long as I hold it. How can I arrange the wiring to where this won't happen?

Re: Horn/signal turn problem

Year make and model.
I would suspect a shorted turn signal switch but check wires on column and also good grounds on signal lights.

My apologies, it's a 1993 Chevy Suburban.

Re: Horn/signal turn problem

That is alright I forget them things myself.
Nothing special about switch them years but I think the horn button wiring runs threw the switch.
If a SIR Air bag be careful with it.
Check for a wire touching or shorted in or around turn signal switch area.
Good luck MT
