Removing Power Steering Pulley
How the heck do you remove the power steering pulley on the SOHC quad 4's when the pulley doesn't have the little lip necessary for the special puller to pull on? The car is a 93 grand am and it looks like the pulley was pressed onto the camshaft but I have no idea the proper way to get it off when there's nothing for the special tool to hook on to. I was thinking about using a large puller around the pulley but I fear that will just bend the pulley.

Re: Removing Power Steering Pulley
The correct pulley puller for your car should pull it off.
You might not have that puller.

Re: Removing Power Steering Pulley
Yea I thought I did but I guess I don't, can't seem to find one on the net...I borrowed something like this http://www.etoolcart.com/browseprodu...r-OTC4530.HTML but it must not be for the camshaft pulley cuse it says it's for quad 4's but doesn't work on the camshafts power steering pulley (it's got no lip to grab and pull on).

Re: Removing Power Steering Pulley
You will need a big pulley puller for that pulley, thats what I used when I removed my pulley. Hope this helps.
