A little surprise for my 1000th post

Hi all

I ventured into the unknown (AKA my loft) over this Bank Holiday weekend as we are moving things around and sorting out our impending baby's Nursery, so needed to dispense of excess cr@p to our loft, when I stumbled across an old box of mine with photos in it. Instead of carrying on with the Nursery (the babys not due for a while, I told my wife ) I scanned them in for us all to enjoy

They are from the '90's and come from Goodwood FOS & Coys Historic Festival. So here, below, are some pics for you to enjoy -

First off, my owns pics of #24R on Goodwood Hill and in the Paddock



Next my own pics of #01R, again from Goodwood FOS but this time on the lawn outside the front of Goodwood House



Also in the paddock and getting ready to do the Hill was this little beauty



And to round off the Goodwood FOS spots, I spotted this gorgeous creature at the Concours D'Elegance (#007)



which must have been the same year these pics was taken? (not my pics BTW)



Later, a few years ago, my Girlfriend (now Wife) bought us tickets to Goodwoods Historic Festival, and whilst on the first bend of the circuit I turned round and saw this, #046 entering the public carpark




Now we move on to Coys Historic Festival at Silverstone, again in the '90's. I saw #12R in road-going trim




Finally in a tent in the middle of the circuit I came across this little beauty, and I didn't realise the significance of the number on the side 'til I subscribed to this forum (all those moons ago )



I have many more pics that are't Mclaren related, but that'll be once the Nursery is finished and on another Forum site

There are a lot of pics of Ferraris, a few XJR15's, a TWR XJ220 etc etc, so more than likely SCnet but it won't be for a while......

Hurstg01 & every other mclaren fan on the forum.In reply to your 1000 post,this is my first !!
Your pictures look like my photo albums,i must have been stood next to you.

I have lots to say but will share a bit of my past first.
My first encounter with the f1 came in 1995 at donington,where i saw them race,after other various british gt racing,i again saw two at le-mans 1998.Seen like you various cars at Coy's ,Goodwood etc.I collect models ,photo's presspacks etc & have spent quite a bit of money over the years,much to my wife's amazment !


looking forward to joining in the Mclaren worship,with everyone

P.s Did you know that M14 MCL was i think Mr Bridgers first F1. I sat in the car at Goodwood 2000 ,as i live within the same county as him ,he said ok go on then!
I will post some pictures as soon as i find out how too!
