94 Jeep cherokee Not Sure of how many gears
I have a 94 jeep grand cherokee limited automatic and i wasnt sure of its a 3 or 4 speed because of when im on the highway going about 70 the rpms seem kinda high like it should shift into 4th but it doesnt if anyone could give me any info it would be great thanks

well my car does not shift into 4th gear anyone know what the prob could be?

It is a 4 speed. if you are going 70 on my 94 GC 6 cylinder my RPMs are around 2300. If it is around 3300 or more it is in 3rd gear. Maybe the overdrive off switch is stuck on?

when i'm doing 70 my 98 GC straight 6 runs at about 2000 RPMs. i also think that the overdrive isn't kicking in.
