Although it looks very nice, (IMO), I dont think the A4 Cabriolet's styling will be quite as timeless as its Audi Cabrio predecessor.

The 3-series has it whipped though, (again IMO), especially with the sport pack and beautiful M-tech body baby!

Dynamically its no contest, 3-series conquers all

A4.
It suits me better, I mean, my favourit album is "Pink floyd - The Division Bell".
By all means, the BMW is a beautiful, fast and agile car, but not as comfortable as the Audi.

IMO
(remember my opinion)

all cabrios suck, and are a disgrace to their rigid-roofed relatives

(well, unless of course u opt for a hardtop whenever not driving with the top down)

then i would have to go with the BMW

Having recently driven my friend's Audi A3 i found it did suffer from the things Audis are generally criticised for, notably completely lifeless steering and over-rigid suspension.... so the cabrio may not be as comf as you might imagine.... build quality is atrocious and the dealers are giving him hell... i hope this latter point is not a fair reflection on Audis as they are known for good build but i was certainly not impressed

VAG dealers acting up? News to me
As for the car, well, I recently had the pleasure of test driving the new S4, and equipped with Servotronic, it feels light, but if pushed, it gives you some recistance. This isn't the best solution if you wan't a sportscar, but it feels comfortable at all speeds, witch is what Audis are all about.
Hopefully I will get to drive a Cabriolet from Germany and home sometime next month, but untill then, I still like it

Well there is a big difference between the S4 and the A4. Also it coud be that some dealerships are a pain. My cousin has a brand new M class mercedes and most of the time the mercedes dealership has proven how big jerks they can be. So i guess it dependes from dealership to dealership.

Precisely. Fast Audi's are about going fast with little driver challenge or involvement... which is cool, it's cool, but its no "M"car

I am sorry to any Audi owners for what I am about to say here, but; I have to pick the M series without a doubt. Audi makes nice cars, but like Acura they charge WAY more than they are worth. Really for the money I could use to buy and Audi, I would buy a Mercedes or a BMW.
