Weed Eater Help....

Hey all I have a poulan weed eater that im modding except I have a problem.
I let the retractor spool for the pull string out of containment and I dont have the patience to put it all back in. I have tried many different mods but cant come up with anything in an easy to do mod. I can come up with plenty of badass ideas but welding equipment i dont have so i need to come up with a replacement retractor tool. Ive tried a modified spring and a bungie cord. Both work good but the spring cant handle the tension and springs loose, the bungie cord wraps around itself n gets caught otherwise they both do retract just not enough before something screws up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

I think he's talking about his Honda Civic. Though that said it's easy to get confused between the two, especially if you're blind.

Re: Weed Eater Help....

LOL no not a civic....i mod everything i own cars ph other electronics, pc nething and everything...if u dont mod it it isnt technically yours, you havent put you into it. right now the weed eater has a cai and exhaust mods. future mods include p l u g and w i r e lol and a blade, and maybe a higher octane fuel/oil mixture. but none of that is gonna mean a damn thing if i cant even get da bitch to start ya know. so i got to come up with something here, and soon before the gf starts bitchin bout the grass bein tall haha.

anybody have any ideas?

Glysophate... spray it on the offending green stuff and you won't need a weedeater.

Re: Weed Eater Help....

Can you mod my Echo brush cutter? It only has an 8" circular blade on it and I want to go bigger, (engine and blade). I ended up buying a DR mower a couple of years ago to assist in the brush cutting on my 6 1/2 acres. Now there's something you can have a field day modifying!
