Headlights, Brights & Dash Lights

I have a 1987 non-turbo Supra and I'm having a strange electrical problem. At any given moment with my headlights on they will switch to the high beams and if I jiggle the lever they'll either go back to normal, but then I lose all of my dash lights, or the lights will black out completely and I have to pull off the road and keep jiggling the headlight lever until they come back on.

A friend told me to look into getting a combinator switch but I can't find it for a my Supra so they must call it something else. What do you guys think it could be? I also had my stereo stolen so I have a few loose wires hanging around.

First, take care of those loose wires.

There is a good chance that the combination switch, or the wires are going out. It is a 20 year old car after all.

Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely having those loose wires looked at.
