DVD Burners
I just recently bought a new Sony DVD dual layer burner. However, the software that came with it (Nero Express) does not allow for me to append files onto the disk. It only allows me to overwrite the disk which is a real hassle for me. Is there any way that I can force it to append files and not overwrite the whole disk? I couldn't find anything in the software options that would allow me to do so.
Is there another program out there that I can use (preferably freeware)? TIA!! cap |

Re: DVD Burners
It comes with only Nero Express. What's weird is that the drive did not come with a driver. It's a Sony drive but Windows recognizes it as a different model. I don't think that there's a problem there but odd none the less.
Is the DLA the best option out there? cap |

Re: DVD Burners
Nah, Sony and many others rebrand each others drives - I'm not surprised it detected something different.
DLA is the best option for what you want to do, however I think Nero has an option to Append an existing disk, just make sure when you create the disk in the first place you create a Multisession disk.
