guage cluster bulb for 2002

i just saw this somewhere but now i cant find it again, what bulb type goes in the back of an instrument cluster for a 2002 silverado? i beleive it is a 194/168? i was thinking of changing the color to blue for them and using leds, any suggestions would be great. the bulbs should be twist lock on the 2002 and older models correct? thanks, Derek

the bulbs slide in, but you need twist locks for them.

Bay area amusements has the twist locks, and this type of bulb

works the best in the cluster. I had the straight 4 LED type in mine to start with, but it created "hotspots." I have since gone to these, and they disperse the light VERY evenly.

And remember: ALWAYS check eBay before you buy.

sorry, just to clarify with a 2002 i need to buy the twist connectors? shouldn't the cluster already have the connectors in it? i had a 94 saturn that had the twist locks.

It does have twist locks, but the bulbs are inseparable from them. So, in essence, no. You will not be able to reuse what is in there.
