96 2.0l Fan Runs Irregularly

hey there friends. i got a 96 cabrio with a 2.0 engine. my fan runs when ever it feels like it. (0 degrees celcius) for example. start the car and the fan will run. sometimes just run for 1 second.... sometimes the whole drive.
i replaced temperature sensor (the 2 pin sensor) and still dont know whats going on. really i think there must be something else controlling the fan.
need some help please
