Where is my Oil Pressure Switch.

I am starting to feel like an idiot here. I have been looking for my OPS for 2 hours now and I can't find it. My parts guy said "oh its just up by the distributor,no problem". I want to replace it and need to find it. I have a new one but I don't see anything that looks anything like it. I have a 97 Blazer 2 dr tbi w/4.3. HELP!

Re: Where is my Oil Pressure Switch.

It should be there!!!
May be hard to see or get to or wires or stuff may be over on top of it.
It may help to remove wires or dist cap if a flat top cap.
It is between where the dist shaft goes into block and the drivers side head.
They also make a oil pressure switch socket to help remove and install it.
Good luck
