In a hurry

I have a 2003 chevy malibu. The brake lights stay on all the time. WHATS WRONG!

Theres probably a switch on the brake pedal that is broken or adjusted wrong. I dont know if they still used this method in 2003. My friends 2002 gm car had this problem and it was the switch on the pedal.
