help! my rim decal decal is ruin.

got my decal ruined today... what do u guys do if any of your decals accidentally got ruined or dissapears? i lost of my decals set on rims so im left with 1 short. can decals be bought seperately or do i have to live wit it?

You're not lost if you are willing to do a little work. Do you have another rim decal still on the sheet? If so you can just scan it and print it onto decal paper and just apply that one.

If you don't have a decal you could scan, you could try your hand at making your own logo in a computer art program, and then print THAT onto decal paper.

Zax13,

You may be able to get a new decal, but it depends on with model you are working on. If it's still in production, you have a good chance. If it's not, then you may have a problem.

btw, where do i get decal papers? does the lhs sells empty ones? my model that i was doing still in production. its the tamiya subaru impreza wrc 2004 rally japan (item 24276).

i dont mind doing a little work but i dont have the spare decal to scan.

Some local shops carry decal paper, just go in and ask. If you can't get it there, there are plenty of websites that sell it. It runs through your computer printer like regular paper, then you spray it with a protective spray (So the colors won't run), and then apply them like regular decals.

If you don't have the other decal to scan, see if you can find a picture from the box, or the internet. If you can't, try your hand and creating the image from scratch in a paint program.

Try a search on making your own decals, I'm sure there are better instructions than I could give.
