HELP No spark!!!
I was driving down the road and my car just died (the battery was dead) and the alternator was bad so I replaced it. a couple days ago I replaced the entire dizzy assembly. it cranks but the dizzy isnt getting spark now. I havent any Idea what it could be??? ty

Could it be a short on the starter. the previous owner put a half assed push button start in it. does anyone know the proper wiring for the starter?

Make sure the two dizzy wiring clips are connected. Check all your grounds. You also should take off your dizzy cap to see if your rotor is loose. Why did you replace the dizzy in the first place? I doubt its your starter, the only thing it is meant to do is crank the engine.

so i tested the dizzy and the coil was bad. problem solved
