Question 99 Bonneville "Car stalls and Windows + Locks Fail"

I have a 99 bonneville with 115K on it. I've been having issues with the car stalling when I use my power windows. The car will stall out and the windows dont work. Once I try to restart, the car will start but idol very funny and eventually stall out. The odd thing here is that the problem is intermittent. Usually after 10 tries or so the car will start as if nothing is wrong and once you restart it may or may not act crazy.. I have read some other posts about the ground possibly going bad or loose connection..Any suggestions?

Re: 99 Bonneville "Car stalls and Windows + Locks Fail"

This is very common problem on these Bonnies! Probably a bad ground somewhere. I had same problem on my 95. I found the two in the cabin were good, but the ones under the hood (I believe there were three) were all dirty. i simply removed them, litely sanded them and put them back and problem was gone. Even a repair shop couldn't find the problem. I have learned that with electrical problems always check the grounds. That is usually always the problem. Good luck!
