CV traction control system
 Quoted from "Bruzilla's" site: The CV's traction control system is designed to remove power from the car whenever a loss of traction is "sensed". Needless to say, these systems are far more sensitive than your typical driver's senses, and may remove power at times that the driver doesn't want it removed. The NLECTC recommended that drivers turn the traction control system off when optimum performance is desired, and turn it back on in situations where traction is vital (rainy and snowy weather). My question:How do you turn it on/off? IE: where is this control on '99 CVPI ? THANKS

If it is a CVPI, it may not have a switch. Our 99"s do not have one.

Most CVPI's will not have the switch. In 99 if it was ordered with electronic traction control the switch will be located behind the glove box door, but not in the glove box. It could also have been relocated to the trim panel just to the left of the steering column. Most CVPIs will not have it. They are usually built with traction lock limited slip differentials and do not require a switch. You would not really like it anyway, I have had it in a 200 and a 2004 LX and when I have to back up my driveway in the winter, the electronic unit will momentarily lock the slipping wheel to get the other one to grab, if this happens to many times in a fast sucession, the car will stall from vacuum loss. You can check the build sticker on the left front door and get the axle code from that and it will tell you if you have a limited slip, open type or open type w/traction control.
