Front Clip Compatibility?

I have a 1997 grand marquis LS. I was recently in an accident and my car was declared 'totaled'. i bought it back from the insurance company and stripped off the bad parts. i need a hood, both fenders, and everything above the bumper back to the radiator(headlights, grille, etc...) the bumper is fine. I was wondering if the front clip from a crown victoria, or an older grand marquis would bolt onto my car. Thanks.

Re: Front Clip Compatibility?

Hood- 92-97 grand marquis or crown victoria

Fenders 95-02 grand marquis

Header panel 95-97 grand marquis

With the change of the bumper cover you can mount a 92-94 grand marquis front end on there also, you will need 92-94 fenders. That also goes for a crown victoria front end. Best to find a whole front end at a wreckers.

Re: Front Clip Compatibility?

thanks for the info reeker. i am looking at a '92 from one junkyard and a '95 at another one. im thinking about taking the hood, fenders, radiator support, and lights from the '95. that would allow me to use the bumper i saved from my car. Then i would need to find a header panel and grille.
i have a question about the fenders. i looked at a few different internet sites that sell car parts and they sell the same fender for a '92 all the way to a '02. did they make a change in '95?

Re: Front Clip Compatibility?

One major change that I know of in 95, they removed the radio antenna from the right fender to the rear window, I'm not 100% sure what else is different.
