Tranny Swap????

Hi All
I have a 93 chevy truck 1/2 tonne 2 whl drive with a sick 4L60E tranny. I have available a tranny from a 93 Buick Roadmaster. Will it fit/work in the truck ?????????

Could be, check with a local salvage for an interchange.

Salvage guy told me to measure tranny on truck & compare to the buick...truck isn't local to me right now so I was hoping someone here would be able to tell me if they are the same. Thanks
