Advancing timing on 06 specv
just wondering if it would be worth advancing the timing on my 06 specv i have easy access to consult 2 and can do it just wondering if it was worth it or if the gas mileage will suffer a lot or performane issues.....

if you have the consult its easy, but be sure youre running on good gas or youll blow your shit

if you advance your timing, run at least 91 octane

i have only been putting 91 octane in it since i got it. im pritty sure that consult will only let you do it like 2 deg or something like that so im sure i will be fine. i also dont live where it gets really hot so that will help ill try it and see i can always change it back and im still under warranty for a long time so that will help too

i was also wondering if i should wait till i get a cai because ive been reading about how the qr25 starves somewhat for air at high rpms.....

lol yeah, the best dollar for dollar mod besides a clutch/flywheel combo is a cold air intake
