ICM / Coil Packs
I have a friend that just lost his ICM. I have access to a module and coils from a 3100. His is a 3400.
Would the module and packs be a suitable replacement? |

Re: ICM / Coil Packs
What years!!
The 98 3.1 coils and ICM are the same part # as a 2000 3.4. ICM # 10489422 and the coils # 10472401 So yes it should work, if the plug on the ICM is different then obviously it wont work. Hope that helps!

Re: ICM / Coil Packs
They were the same. I had it switched out in under an hour. I don't think it helped our problem though.
Thanks for the input. |

Re: ICM / Coil Packs
check the fuses and the wiring.
Also make sure no pins in the ICM plug are bent or broken

Re: ICM / Coil Packs
The pins are fine but we didn't have time to unwrap the wires. The car still runs. I haven't looked at the fuses yet but I assume there is one for each coil or cylinder.
