Some Harley Photos

Hi,

yesterday the was the annual Harley-Meeting in a villiage near where I live.
Here some impressions:

although i'm not a fan of harleys, i liked these ones....

The Buell is a new model, XB12X Ulysses Dual-sport.

Some interesting work there...the sprocket/rotor is different. Chain lube and brakes usually don't play nice together, but I guess it's a sealed o-ring chain...

Oh man, i absolutley LOVE those sprocket/brake combos. I wish more sportbikes came like that.

Did you ever see that VTX1800 cafe racer Jesse James built?

One of the most trick rear brake arrangements I've seen...rotor on the driveshaft with caliper fixed to the frame...




Note the air ride suspension too...

Very nice bikes. One question, why does everyone make customs so impractical? I guess uncomfortable/no passenger accomodations is cool, but I don't get it. I don't want to look under my arm to check traffic or rest my chin on the fuel tank to reach the bars.
