Question cutty 5 spd

I am currently redoing my 80 cutlass calais and all is looking good but for 1 thing, it still has a 260 ci v8 in it which just aint enough! I have a 355 chevy i want to build for it but thats not the prob either. I know that in the late 70s buick made regals with manual trans. would the clutch pedal assembly from one of these buick bolt into my cutty? I would like to run my 355 chevy with a 5 spd from a z28 camaro. making a few special parts or adapters is no big deal as i work in a machine shop but i dont want to cannibalize it to get it done. anybody out ther ever done this? any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
