Hello

Hello everyone, I am sorry that my first post is a few questions right off the bat but hopefully someone will read this and help me out. I just purchased a 1998 Olds Cutlass 3100 Liter engine with 140K. I have two problems: problem 1 is kind of complex, both my ABS and Brake light stay on constantly while driving. And the annoying thing is after I come to a complete stop and put my foot on the gas there is an annoying chime for about 5 seconds. The next issue is that I disconnected the battery while putting an aftermarket radio in and after I reconnected the battery I noticed that my gas gauge has stopped working. You know how there is like a little knob inside the glass that is on the bottom by the E? well it looks like it must have rolled all the way past full and fell below the knob. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time,
John

Re: Hello

Welcome to AF. The abs must be scanned for codes with an abs function scanner, ( not AZ). The gage probably has to come out and apart to reset the needle, if possible.
