Re: Hey guys!

A) I don't think so.
B) 2400lb car + >600hp = a friggin rocket sled...

It is a damn nice car though regardless of the engine. Dude did very well with it. Kept it very tasteful and restored it well.

Yes, but you would have to be Bill Gates to afford the fuel bill.

Yeah but you can get 600hp out of an L28 as well and at least then it will sound awesome....

Or a 600hp 1jz. 600hp AND reliable to boot...

But we all know the only engine swap for a 240z is a VH45de... tt...

Re: Hey guys!

I read a super street with a couple rb26 powered Z's. I'd love to get a 280zx and slap an rb26 in it. Oh man would that be awesome. Or just get an R34. :P

Re: Hey guys!

the idea of just slapping an rb engine into a z car is nice, but it isnt what ne1 would consider cheap.
o the idea of just getting an r34, the r35 will b cheaper in comparison for what you're getting.
i'd love just to b able to find a decent 280z for sale, i've seen 240's like there's no tomorrow.
how bout u try this one on for size, i saw a 350z with a 10cyl, out of a viper, nice idea, but dumb at the same time

Re: Hey guys!

I'd LOVE a 240.

Yea, the RB swap is kinda cliche...but still...the car is VERY well done. Plus, the 240 only weighs ~2400lbs...600hp in a car that light would be scary. It could have a Briggs & Stratton in it...it doesn't matter...it's still a 600hp 240Z that is very well done and has to be rediculously fast.
