SHorter dogbones....

thinking about getting the Wbody stores shorter dogbones t give me the room between the downpipe and swaybar. it looks like flipping the swaybar will be a pain since the bolts are rustwelded. anyone use the shorter dogbones? did it give enuff room?

Re: SHorter dogbones....

The only use for shorter dogbones that I have heard is to get rid of vibration caused by lowering your GP.

I have not heard of that. The rubber peice would be the cause of possably of that noise.

Re: SHorter dogbones....

Yeah, but through ZZP you can buy offset mounts that pull the engine forward a little more and they claim that it kills the vibration. So if you use that same logic, using shorter dogbones would pull the motor forward, killing the vibration. At least that's what I gather from other GP owners I talk to.

That would make sense I guess, as the shorter dog bones would help realign the drivetrain thrown off by lowering.
