where is the fuel filter?

I have a 2003 s-10 crew cab pick up is it hard to change the fuel filter and where is it thank you in advance?

Usually down on the side of the frame in transfer case area.
Follow the big fuel line from tank to the back of the engine.

They are a change As needed deal.
Normal conditions check/change ever 25K
Depends on how clean you fuel is.
Pull it off and see if you can blow threw it good if not replace it.

cool yea I just bought a Purlalter one $ 22.00 no big deal no special instructions right just thread one end on and looks like a snap other end on

Thats about it, but you may wish to put a bit of anti-seize on the threaded side to make it easier to change next time.
