Temp Knob won't turn to cool
Well on to my next problem. 98 Jeep cherokee manual temperature knob won't turn to the cool postion. I thought the knob was just frozen or the cable was stuck but that's not the case. It tlooks like the blend door won't move in the other direction. Summers coming I need to get this fixed to use the AC.
Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Sorry no one has posted sooner. But problems like this are likely to be mechanical.
So if you will just follow the cable out to the door, you can see if something is binding. Drop the glove box out of the way first...two rubber stops. Last edited by AlohaBra; 05-07-2007 at 11:57 PM.
