how to check an OMRON 12088567

mY 2001 Premiere has hot air coming out of the vents. I hecked the refridgent pressure with one of those kits from walmart the level was low so I charged it, but I get the same result.

I had a friend press the ac on/off button and I could hear some clicking.

I wanted to test this relay that the haynes book suggested it is an OMRON 12088567 I donot get any resistance between 85 and 86.

when I removed it to test it I did not make note of the way I removed It

So can anyone tell me if this relay is bad, I should read resistane with it not energised?

What is the correct wat to reinsert it if at the front of the van is the diagram pointing towards me or away.

thank you

Re: how to check an OMRON 12088567

If your van is like mine, there is another relay you can swap it with to test it out. That is, the horn relay. Check out the following page for more details.

Replace A/C Clutch Relay

I don't think it is possible to put the relay in backwards (it should only go in one way). I hope this helps.

Take Care,
