Driver's Side A/C Blowing Warm

My 99 Intrigue's a/c is blowing warm on the driver's side. It has dual climate control, and the passenger side is working fine. I've read other threads with this problem, but none of the solutions have worked for my car. I thought maybe someone might have a new direction to point me in. Doors are closing all the way, seals are good.... just can't get COLD air out the driver's side. It's cool, but not like the passenger side.

I've had the left actuator replaced per dealership (don't get me started on them), but that did not solve the problem.
GM Mechanic told me to change the a/c control head, but that did not solve the problem.
I've replaced the outside temperature sensor - that didn't work either.

Please, please... anyone - I live in Florida and it's already in the 90s. I need my a/c.

Re: Driver's Side A/C Blowing Warm

I had the exact problem with my '01 shortly after I bought it in '05. I dreamed up all kinds of things I thought it might be. As it turns out.....it just needed the freon recharged. The mechanic said that there was simply not enough freon for the blower to reach the drivers side of the car?? At least that's what he said (?)and he did recharge the freon. It's been blowing cold ever since.

I agree - My 1999 3.8 had the same problem. It was a leaking compressor seal. They (the shop and $1200) replaced the orifice and dryer also.
Re-charged the system and it is working. The freon level is very critical.

I fought this for about 2 years and finally bit the bullit
