I was gonna write a reply sooner but have been to busy, I was gonna say I'm gonna be trying to start up an import club that will do the usually meets and would like to get all the ppl who are into racing to get together on an agreed day or date during the summer and start racing at Thunder Mtn. I know it's only a 1/4mile but it's still fun, it's better the streets and it's legal plus it would be cool to make a name for all the imports around kelowna cause all thats up there right now is domestic. So I'm trying to line as many ppl up as possible before hand. So if you or somebody else you know is interested let me know.

At least therres a couple of us on here im still in the okanagan for the most part.... driving a 89 accord coupe..its medium gray metalic in color. has about 100hp....carbed engine..i have 5 spoke alum. for it but have to repair one...so im running black wheelees on it now. ive added power windows to it recently,, a moonroof was also installed almost immediatly after buying the car..has 270000km on it at the moment ..runs very well.... i plan on selling it to buy a efi version...i do have a parts car with efi but want all the other goodies that the efi's came with .. enough talking and time to go out and enjoy the nice sunny day.!! supposed to get in the mid 30"s this week so time to get rid of the farmers tan and enjoy all the ladies at the beach!! tata |

Hey, can I ask you about your moon roof! How did you go about putting one in? My crx has no sun roof or moon roof, and I really want to put in a sunroof. I thought that this was pretty impossible, if not out of the question EXPENSIVE, but it would still be nice to know what I'm looking at. IS this something I can go to an auto wreckers and yank it off another car or something? Thanks!!!!

Thanks!!!! -carmen Well i got a almost fully opening roof from the wreckers for 40$ it has a handle that you turn and it goes up and back .....i think it looks really good on my car.....all i did was cut the right size hole in the roof using a jigsaw with a metal blade and used rubber caulking to seal it against the roof...i only had to remove one roof brace..i dont think it takes that much strnghth away from the roof though...i havent had a problem..i then moved the interior light to the front of the car/ mine rarely leaks...it only does if i dont make sure its all the way down. just as much power out the little 1.6 as my 2.0 in my accord and it has better power too when the twin cams kick in!!....I drove that thing hard and it never gave me a problem...and the thing was awesome on gas too..not like the accord...the thing is very tempremenntal. happpy driving people enjoy the summer |
