Re: More Power

being an F-250, a swap for a 7.3 PowerStroke should be pretty direct. you'll need the diesel's wiring loom and all the neccessary mounts/exaust/etc gear as well as the engine, gearbox and driveshaft. you may also need different differential(s) for the extra torque. don't forget the diesel engine may also require new heavy-duty suspension components to handle the extra weight of the engine.

all-in, you're looking at ~$3,000-$5,000 and maybe even more than that for all the neccessary stuff.

it's most definitely not an easy swap. the easist is a like-for-like swap where just replace the engine and gearbox with new units same as the originals.

if you do swap in the 7.3 and still crave more power, there are plenty of kits out there, and custom work can give huge numbers.
