Help

Have a '93 1500 Sierra 4x4 with 5.7 eng. Took it to shop they said computer head was dead. Replaced that and cap and rotor, charged 700 and said I still need wires plugs. They replaced two plugs that they said were arcing. I replaced wires and plugs and still runs like somethings wrong with plugs. They said the wires were arcing against the motor and I replaced them again and made sure they were secure and still runs badly. It ran fine before I took it in it just wouldn't start the first day which was the computer I guess, but it ran smoothly. Any idea's?

Re: Help

Not clear about what the symptoms are, is this a dead misfire at idle /under load?

Re: Help

Someone has to drive this to determine the type of problem here.
