Replaced engine broken spedometer/odometer
We just had the engine replaced in Hyundai XG300...now the spedometer and odometer don't work and the check engine light is on. Should the mechanic have reset something for these instruments or do they need to be replaced when an engine is replaced?

Re: Replaced engine broken spedometer/odometer
sounds like he forgot to hook up the VSS (or broke it)
take it back and have them figure out what they messed up. It seems rather odd they didnt' notice the problem on the test drive
