misfire cyl 1 and coolant light
I have a 2001 grand am GT and i am getting a misfire code for cyl 1 and a coolant light. i added coolant and swaped coil and plug from differint cyl after 45min of driving coolant light came back on and still had misfire in cyl 1. i can not see any coolant leaking. could it be the intake gasket and if so how could i check that.

Re: misfire cyl 1 and coolant light
misfire could be the wires, the plugs, how old are they?
also an onjector malfunctioning can cause a misfire. On the coolant, check the oil for milky looking stuff, or oil in the coolant. Sometimes the sensor gets an air bubble stuck on it and it'll throw the low coolant light especially after it was realy low. Try tapping on the resivoir to knock off the air bubble.
