M-Parallel Chrome Wheels?

Does anyone know if BMW actually makes a M-Parrallel Chrome wheel? I've seen the aftermarkets offered by wheel dealers, and I'm sure they are good wheels, but I'd rather have the one that BMW installs.

Chromed M Parallel Wheels

The optional equipment M Parallel Spoke wheels model #37 is what most people refer ot as M Parallels. These do not come in chrome from BMW, and the after market replicas are not made from a forged alloy but rather use the less expensive alloy casting process. They claim to be made by the same people as the BMW wheels which may be technically true, but they do not use the same materials or the same process as the M wheels from BMW.

If you want the "real deal" in Chrome, so to speak then you have to buy the BMW parts from either BMW dealer or parts resellers. I got my set from Bekkers which came in BMW boxes... To get chromed versions, you have to take them in a get them chrome plated yourslef to be sure. Or find another person who did that and are selling them. I was a set like this on Ebay once, but was not able to strike. Id' be happy to have them chromed, but the cost was high enough as it was! They look great on Bettie!! and I am a happy boy.
