Tempature gage fluctuation

94 Century. 3.1 ltr. 160k miles. Just recently the temp gage has been going crazy. A lot of flucuation in the needle while driving. Any ideas? Thanks.

Re: Tempature gage fluctuation

Replace the temp sensor in the engine. It may be bad. It may be caused by a thermostat going bad so you may want to change it too. Finally, check the coolant level and the fans and make sure they are both in good shape.
