So, no offense, i LOVE the camaro and firebird.. but there are a few things that piss me off about these babies..

well, maybe more then a few..that make sme wanna and and the people who designed it..

(4th gen)

1) the sun-shade thing.. who the hell designed that?! if i put it down, i cant see SHIT out the front of my car
2) who designed the cupholder for a M6 camaro?!?! the one right where your hand goes to SHIFT?!
3) who designed the afterthought cupholder (although it works good)?!? it looks like shit!
4) who designed the TURN SIGNALS in the 4th gen?! placing em where you CANT see them when they're on..and you cant even HEAR em over the goddamn engine!!
5) who designed the car to FLEX so much that it starts DENTING after a while..
6) Who designed the rear SEATS so that when someone (fat) gets out the seat POPS forward and you gotta lean back to push it back down?!
7) who designed that God-awful bump on the passenger side floor.. that when you put a floor mat (even the STOCK one) makes it get all wrinkled and NOT stay?!
8) Who designed that stupid lights to stay ON when you want to turn it OFF?!
9) and worst of all..saving the WORST TWO FOR LAST.. WHO DESIGNED the LT1 THAT DOES HAVE LOTS OF POWER BUT HAS NO SPACE TO CHANGE SPARK PLUGS AND UTILIZES AN OPTI-SPARK!!!!

I'm the driver, so I don't worry about the passenger-side floor.
Cupholder in the autos is stupid too, because that's where I rest my arm and pretend I am driving a stick.
And yeah, F**K the optispark and those damn plugs.

Oh man number two is right on the money.

I traded from a third gen up to a fourth gen and I was so excited to have a cup holder, until i try to use it and I can't change gears.

I hate changing spark plugs. I am going to take it to a shop and have the spark plugs changed next time.

That horrible bump on the floor is from the 3rd gen cat converters. The floor pan is the same 3rd gen and 4th gen due to gm not wanting to dump any more money into retooling the design, plus it kept the retail price down. As for the flex, if you have a hardtop it won't flex as much but it isn't as much fun in the summer.

who designed the front windshield so that when it rains and you use your wipers... all the water DRIPS into the driver side door!!!

ive noticed on newer hondas and stuff, the windshield is a little sunken in..so that water travels DOWN the windshield..not into the door !_!

haha, stepho.. i got it down to a science now.. (the plugs) you get the hardest ones first. btw, dont take it to a shop..cuz the two 97 camaros i had, both of em had only SIX changed. the other two were stockers.. seems like no one even tried to change em.

!) jack up the car, get everything you can from the bottom..you should get most of the passenger side if you can..cuz from the top its hard to get any with the EGR in the way.. the driver side is a lot simpler to get..you should be able to get all 4 from the top.

the passenger, you actually have to get into the engine bay to move your hands to screw the plug in..

hella crappy.. but on my sisters, i got everything in ~3hrs.

oh..and poor, i hate putting change in there..cuz when it gets wet it gets all corroded and shit..and its impossible to get out all the spare change out of that shit >_<

Classic GM styling... all my GM's from my 86 blazer on did / do that... they got rid of the damned rain channel for appearance sake.... only to make you look like a jackass when you get out of the car. The nasty part is that usually there's birdshit or something on the windshield that is now mixed in with washer fluid and running down your arrm / shirt / pants.

things i hate:
3rd gen:
1. No power in the v6's
2. NO cupholders
3. TOO FSCKIN LOW TO THE FSCKIN GROUND!
4. GROUND KITS! ITS NOT A FSCKIN RICE BURNER!
5. flip-up headlights that don't flip-up, or that won't flip back down.
6. WIRING WIRING AND WIRING(specific to my car, the previous owner fscked it up big-time trying to install a custom sound system.)
