reads 130 cold or hot..

i have a 93 olds regency 98.
heater/ac controls reads 130 or more cold or hot.
any ideas?

Do you mean the outside temp or the comfort setting?

The temp sensor is up in the grille area, it is possible that it is bad, dirty or too near something hot, as the radiator.
