I saw one of those and it looks way too big to lug around everywhere.

I've got a T68 loaded with everything bluetooth triband color screen and gprs ready. Suck that there are virtually no areas suporting Gprs in US.

I must be a luddite. I'm still using a digital/analog AMPS phone - I get SMS but only in NZ and I don't have data enabled. On the other hand, analog has much better coverage esp in the mountains and offshore.

But the phone does communicate with the IR port on my laptop so all my numbers and appointments get synchronised automatically. (So I can download number from my contacts list and get reminders for my appointments on my phone).

And the bloody buttons suit a bloke's thumb - anything smaller like a T68 has frickin' keys you can't use with a decent sized thumb or answer with ski gloves on. I'm an outdoors person - ruggedness, dependability and coverage are more important.

And I have worldwide dial up on the work laptop...

yea the US is a biggg market for mobile phones unfortunately the gprs thing has not been installed fully it'll take a while because the telecoms industry is suffering heavily from lack of phone sales and anything else to do with telecoms

I should think it would be implemented soon

just j/k

BTW i go to the nazi police aka parking office to get my new C permit> i show them the police report and tell them that my windshield is toast so i need a new permit. Well they don't care about police reports and make me go all the way to the body shop to scrape off my old permit to show it to them.
