Replacing Cloth Interior ?

How hard would it be to have the bottom part of the seat recovered with new factory cloth? I just bought a used 2006 GP and it has a couple burn holes on the driver seat that are bothering me. What kind of cost would I be looking at to have it replaced? Thanks

Re: Replacing Cloth Interior ?

It actually shouldn't be too hard to have it replaced. The biggest issue will be the cost of the OEM cover. You might want to check the aftermarket for new covers as it may be cheaper. Or you can try rock-auto.com or gmpartsdirect.com for the the covers. They have much better prices than a dealership. If you have a pair of hog ring pliers and some hog rings you can easily do this job yourself. Otherwise it may cost you about $100 for labor to change the covers.
