Mazdaspeed Protege vs Contour SVT (MODDED)?
In terms of 0-60 1/4m and all around straight line performance how will a mazdaspeed protege compare against a contour svt stock, and with a few mods...my car has y-pipe cat/res delete and intake? thanx

I'm told mazdaspeed protege aren't incredibly quick stock. The boost cuts off pretty early. I'd keep the contour as the V6 is decent with mods, even though its a Found On Road Dead.

Stock for stock the SVT is a bit quicker. 0-60 ~ low 7s and mid-low 15s in the 1/4. Personally I like the styling of the Protege better, its about 200lbs lighter and its a turbo so lots of potential for power gains
Either would make a great sleeper though
