What wiring diagram are you looking for. What is it you are trying to accomplish. I have access to all of the BMW wiring diagrams. Let me know and we'll take it from there.

Exclamation in need of wiring diagram for 88 ford van

I have an 88 ford econoline with the 5.0 302. My battery drains overnight and sometimes over a period of a few days. I am having trouble traking down the short. I would appreciate a wiring diagram sent via e-mail at: [email protected] I would like to get it fixed before winter.

THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS.
Seanner...

Disconnect the neg battery cable. Take a test light and connect it from the cable to the neg battery post. If the test light lights up, you have a draw on the battery (otherwise the battery is crap). Now, one at a time pull out fuses untill the light goes out. when it does find the short in that part of the harness. Obviously you should have the doors shut and all lights off...happy hunting...

Well, this reminds me of something I want to know. On my 2002 325xi, the HomeLink transmitter does not work once the key is off, and I often find that I shut off the ignition before I want to close the door. Now I know there is a residual power circuit for some of the accessories, like the radio for instance that works for a period of time after the ignition is off. Where is that in the wiring, and is it anywhere near the power for HomeLink transmitter ?

I think the transmitter is disabled for security reasons, wouldn't want someone to open my house by smashing my car window and pressing a button. I believe the residual power for the radio and windows is built in to the respective components (radio and window control unit).
